Be the first to see the best new video games stars in action at Dare ProtoPlay 2009!

As part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Dare ProtoPlay is a fun, free, family day out like no other.   Held on the 14th-16th August from 10am - 6pm at EICC (Edinburgh International Conference Centre), video game fans of all ages can be among the first to play newly designed game prototypes from some of the best new talent in the gaming world.  Entry is free.

Photography Students focus on Parliament

HND in Photography students from Edinburgh’s Telford College will show an exhibition of their work under the theme of “social justice” in Committee Room 3 from 08 August 2009.

The theme was set by sponsors of the exhibition, Edinburgh Trade Union Council (ETUC), as part of joint celebrations of 150 years of the ETUC and 40 years of Telford College.

Pako Sanchez with his winning picture The exhibition was launched at Telford College on 30 April with a photography competition judged by Education Secretary Fiona Hyslop, arts impresario Richard Demarco and Graeme Smith from the Trade Union Council.Spanish photography student Pako Sanchez is pictured with his winning photograph.
