08 August - 14 August
‘HND in Photography’ students from Edinburgh’s Telford College will be displaying an exhibition of their photography work under the theme of ‘Social Justice’ in Committee Room Three of the Scottish Parliament from 08 August 2009.
The ‘Social Justice’ theme was set by sponsors of the exhibition, Edinburgh’s Trade Union Council in joint celebrations of 150 years of the Trade Union Council and 40 years of Edinburgh’s Telford College. Edinburgh’s Telford College has worked with the Edinburgh Trade Union Council (ETUC) for a number of years on employability issues and has a formal partnership to work together to run a series of sessions on employment rights.
The images on display at the exhibition provoke an array of social issues - from political power, homelessness to race relations. The exhibition will run until 14 August 2009.
