UK Skills Awards
Monday, November 3rd, 2008I attended the UK Skills Awards event in Perth Concert Hall.
Three students from Edinburgh’s Telford College - Design, Media and Computing impressed judges at the Worldskills UK competition after submitting a four minute radio production featuring a day in the life of an Edinburgh ghost tour guide. Winning silver in ‘Advanced Radio Production’ Catrina Fegan, Bonnie Fairbrass and Alan Dudley had to demonstrate their radio skills which included interviewing, editing and project management.
Catrina Fegan explained: “We decided to focus on the darker side of Edinburgh thinking it would be an interesting approach to create a montage piece on a ghost tour guide
